Oman - Musandam Ausflug in die Berge / Excursion in the mountains

Die Bergwelt war schroff. Steile, unbefestigte Straßen führten vom Meeresniveau, dem über 2000 Meter entfernten, Gipfel entgegen. In den Kurven - lockeres Geröll und links der Abgrund. Jedes Mal wenn ein Geländewagen entgegenkam, wurde das Ausweichmanöver zu einem Geduldspiel.

 

Die Aussicht und die kühle Brise entschädigte mich aber für die Strapatzen auf Strassen, die teilweise so steil waren, dass ich selbst mit beiden angezogenen Bremsen nicht zum stehen kam, sondern Rückwärst den Hang zurück glitt.
