Noch nie zuvor hatte ich
Kaffeeplantagen gesehen.
Ich war nicht nur überrascht, sondern
auch begeistert, als sich mein weiterer Weg durch diese Landschaft wand.
Die kleinen Bäumchen säumten die Hügel
links und rechts der Straße. Dazwischen immer wieder große Bäume, die wohl mit
ihren starken Wurzeln, die Hänge halten sollten.
Gerade früh morgens, als der Nebel noch schwer
und dick in den Plantagen gefangen lag, war die Szenerie besonders reizvoll.

I was not only surprised, but also excited, as the road wound through this landscape.
The small trees lined the hill to the left and right of the road. Again and again in between there were tall trees that should probably keep the slopes with their strong roots.
Especially early in the morning when the heavy and thick fog was still trapped in the plantations, the scenery was especially appealing.
