Der eigentliche Grund für meinen Ausflug in die Berge waren die Teeplantagen.

Von einem anderen Reisenden hatte ich gehört, dass diese Landschaft sehr sehr schön sein musste.

Was soll ich sagen: Als ich dort ankam, bewahrheitete sich dies.

Mal mystisch mit dicken Nebelwolken, mal verzaubert, wenn die Sonne durch die Baumwipfel brach, zogen sich die Plantagen durch die Berge.

Ein perfektes Asphaltband wand sich kurvenreich durch diese Szenerie. Am Straßenrand wuchsen exotische Bäume, die oft in voller Blüte standen.

Teepflückerinnen arbeiteten in den Plantagen und setzten so ein paar weitere Farbtupfer in die sattgrüne Landschaft. Selten hatte ich eine so tolle Landschaft gesehen. Und schon lange war es her gewesen, dass das Motorradfahren so viel Spaß machte.

The real reason for my trip to the mountains was the tea plantations.
From a fellow traveler, I had heard that this landscape had to be very very nice.

What can I say: When I got there proved true to this.

Sometimes mystical with thick clouds of mist, sometimes enchanted, when the sun broke through the trees, the plantations extended through the mountains.
A perfect ribbon of asphalt was winding through this scenery. Roadside there were growing exotic trees that were often in full bloom.
Tea pickers have been working in the plantations and continued so a few more splashes of color to the lush green landscape. Rarely had I seen such an amazing landscape. And it had been a long time ago that motorcycling was so much fun.
